Christmas at Wollaton

Wollaton Hall & Deer Park

Christmas at Wollaton runs from the 1st – 31st December and is a magical experience for the whole family to enjoy. The experience starts with stepping in to a giant Christmas bauble and in to a winter wonderland of lights, lasers, tunnels, hot chocolates and festive food. There will be plenty of opportunities to make memories and take photographs throughout the experience. Booking is essential.

Narnia at Newstead

Newstead Abbey

Narnia at Newstead will be active for weekends and school holidays from Saturday 25th November until Monday 1st January excluding Christmas Day. There is so much to see and do here in the run up to Christmas including afternoon tea, festive dinners, crafts fairs, historical house tours and day to night wintery walks through the beautiful gardens.

Ever fancied making your own Christmas candles or festive crackers? These are just some of the options available at Debbie Bryan ‘Crafternoons’ There are various crafty workshops hosted throughout the year and in the run up to Christmas to keep all of the family entertained. Each craft session is served with refreshments and you can pick the craft experience and date to suit you.

Santa’s Grotto

Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park

No festive season is complete without a visit to the big man himself and Santa is ready in his grotto at the Wheelgate park from 25th November until 24th December. This event promises  to be a magical wonderland with thousands of twinkling lights and a visit from Rudy the Reindeer. The kids can try their hand at gingerbread baking before being led to the grotto to meet Santa and choosing a present from the toy workshop.
