Many people don’t factor in the cost of boxes and packing materials but if you need a lot of them, this is a significant cost. To keep them down, start looking around for used boxes well in advance of the move. Perhaps a friend moved recently and has boxes left over? Does your local supermarket throw boxes out regularly?
