FUN HALLOWEEN IDEAS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Fun Halloween Ideas for the Whole Family

Welcome back to our blog, this week we will be talking all things spooky and fun in time for Halloween! Stuck for ideas on how to keep everyone amused? Here are some of our best ideas for some family fun for all ages.

Take a Halloween Mystery Tour

The ghouls will be out in force on All Hallows Eve but after your own trick or treating, why not grab the family and take a drive around the local area to look at all the Halloween decorations on the houses and see the rest of the trick or treaters out making mischief? Make this more entertaining by voting on your favourite house, costume or Halloween display!

Play ‘Who am I?’ Halloween Style

We all love a game of ‘Who am I?’ with a mystery name stuck to our foreheads but why not give it a go with a Halloween twist? Think of as many spooky characters as you can and assign the whole family a new spooky identity so they can ask questions until they figure out who they are. Who will guess which Halloween character they are first?

Spooky Pong

Fun for the kids and adults! Get everyone in the family to decorate some ping pong balls with their scariest design. You could make mini pumpkins, eyeballs or even ghosts. Grab some plastic cups and you are good to go. Bounce the ping pong balls on a table and try to get them into the middle cup to win a spooky homemade treat.

Donut String

A classic but a great way for the whole family to get silly and have some fun. Tie a piece of rope lengthways across the room, then attach individual donuts and evenly space them across the horizontal string. You can only use your mouth to try and eat the donut, don’t use your hands! The first one to finish their donut wins a spooky prize.

Pumpkin Garden Hunt

Need to run off the donut sugar rush? Have a game of pumpkin hunt in the garden. Think easter egg hunt with a Halloween theme. Simply hide pumpkins and other Halloween themed treats around the garden for the kids to find. You could have loads of fun with this, hide treats inside the pumpkins or create a scary treasure map with a surprise prize at the end.

We hope you enjoyed our Halloween fun themed blog this week. We would love to hear about your favourite Halloween activities as a family.
